SWR Team training for Caledonian Challenge
Training for the Caledonian Challenge is well underway and this year SWR’s team are aiming to raise £10,000
This year a team from SWR is taking on the Caledonian Challenge, one of the toughest and most rewarding outdoor events in the UK which takes place on the 11-12th June. We’ll be following long distance footpaths through the Scottish West Highlands covering 54 miles in under 24 hours….walking through the night and under the stars to raise money for Foundation Scotland.
The Foundation is Scotland’s busiest grant maker and supports local charities and community groups making a real difference across Scotland like providing facilities for disabled children; helping young people gain skills and access jobs; protecting the environment; running social clubs for older people and much, much
The SWR team will make it to that finish line along with plenty of blisters and midge bites but that’s where the journey really begins – when the money we raise goes on to help these great causes.
This is where you come in. We’d be delighted if you could spare the time (and the money) to make a donation to these great causes. You can link directly to our online donation form by clicking here. It will only take a couple of minutes.
You can also follow our progress during the build-up and throughout the course of the challenge on Twitter.
