Innovative and fast-growing companies are the driving force for Europe’s economy. These businesses generate jobs and ensure competitiveness. EU statistics state there are 26m active enterprises across Europe* so featuring in the top 1000 is a fantastic result for SWR.
“SWR is very proud to feature in today’s FT1000 report.” comments Andy Butler, CEO, SWR. “As a UK business which operates domestically it is particularly exciting for SWR to have earned a place in this list showcasing success stories from across Europe. Core to our success is creating innovative solutions that fulfil our customer’s needs, are delivered by our excellent supply chain and are backed up with our own award winning customer service. We are a people focused business which has enabled us to grow year on year over the last 10 years to the point where our annualised revenues are now £30m”
SWR’s position is calculated from filed company results of £10.3m turnover in 2012 increasing to £18.7m in 2015; with growth of 81.5%. The report highlights exceptional performances in all sectors from 25 different countries. The UK is well represented with 235 businesses featured. As a result, London has emerged as Europe’s capital for growth. SWR is 1 of only 5 waste and recycling companies in the list.
